Acharya Sarvabhouman Swami Sri Nigamantha Maha Desikan emphatically declares: “நன்றே வருவதெல்லாம் நமக்குப்பரம் ஒன்றிலதே”– whatever that happens, even seemingly adverse from a worldly perspective, will unfailingly end up being a blessing for those who have surrendered onto the Divine Lotus Feet of Perumal and Thayar through Sadaacharya guidance.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that this Swami Desikan Srisookthi served as the genesis and the driving force behind the birth of Global Stotra Parayana Kainkaryam (GSPK). What started on March 22, 2020 as a humble effort for a single-day 10,008 Parayanam of Sri Sudharshanashtakam, praying for global well-being [as the world was grappling with a raging pandemic], extended to a week, then to a month and finally blossomed into one of the largest, global virtual satsangam-s that has become a permanent fixture in Srivaishnava calendars.

Right at the outset, we were extremely fortunate to be blessed with the Divine Anugraha Bhashanam of HH SrImad Azhagiya Singar, Srivan Satakopa Sri Ranganatha Yatindra Maha Desikan (46th pontiff of Sri Ahobila Matam) and ever since have continued to receive the steadfast, enthusiastic and selfless support, contribution and constant encouragement of several maha-vidwan-s like SrI U.Ve Navalpakkam Dr. Vasudevachariar Swami, Pazhaveri Lakshminarasimhachariar (Raghu) swami, APN swami, Pazhaveri Lakshminarasimhachariar (Balaji) swami, Malola Kannan swami and many other vidwans are our pillars and support.

Today, GSPK is undoubtedly the most comprehensive go-to platform dedicated to the growth and propagation of Bhagavad Ramanuja Sampradayam and Swami Desika Srisookthi-s, bringing together illustrious Srivaishnava scholars, Ubhaya Vedantha adhikari-s and Bhagavatha-s from around the world. We strive to be the one-stop learning destination for all aspects related to our Sampradayam, catering to a wide cross-section of aspirants: beginning with Upanyasam-s, Stotra and Prabandam classes for those who are just getting started in Sampradayam; going all the way up to Grantha Chatushtaya Kalakshepams for those with prior knowledge and advanced training.

With the longer-term view of catching the next generation young, we launched Sampradaya Manjari ePatashala (SMeP), a comprehensive one-stop platform for kids, on Vijayadasami day 2020, to help prepare and educate kids to form a strong foundation in and a life-long affinity towards Sampradayam. SMeP, which was inaugurated with the blessings of SrI U. Ve. Villur Nadadhoor Sribashyasimhasanam Dr. V S Karunakarachariar swami, is a virtual classroom-based program led by Smt. Prabha Senesh to help kids gain a strong understanding of the various facets of our Sampradayam such as values and morals from the Itihaasa-s and Purana-s; anushtana related topics; learning Desika Stotras, Divya Prabandams and Desika Prabandams; Veda classes (for those qualified); Sampradaya-focused music classes; and Tamizh, Samskrutam language classes.

We also offer the “ௐரொன்று தானே அமையாதோ” Certification Courses, targeting adults who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of Desika Stotra-s and Desika Prabandham-s that are delivered as Upanyasam-s on our platform. Upon successful completion of the courses through due assessment, participants will be awarded certificates signed by SrI U.Ve Navalpakkam Dr Vasudevachariar Swami.
